Welcome to Guangdong Baiyun University!

Guangdong Baiyun University, founded in 1989, is one of the earliest private vocational institutions of higher learning in China. With the goal of building the private Institute into a first-class polytechnic engineering university in China, Baiyun Institute has continued to raise the level of education, training and expertise for students and staff over the years. By doing so we create an active environment in which outstanding students and faculties from around the country are challenged and inspired to achieve excellence and “raise the bar” for education today.

We will continue to design and deliver application-oriented education and training programs to make positive contributions to the development of China and its people.

Xie Ketao, Chairman of the Board, and founder of Baiyun Education Group, is a graduate of the East China Normal University. He continues to provide first-class educational opportunities for China's youth. As such he holds his staff responsible for achieving the high standards required in today's work environment.

He was awarded the"National Prize for Excellent Achievements in Education" in 1998.In 1999 he was voted one of the Guangzhou Municipal "Ten Outstanding Youths" due to his academic and social contributions. He is now a standing Member and Vice President of Guangzhou Vocational Skills Teaching Academy, a member of the Ninth Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy to the 13th People’s Congress of Baiyun District, Guangzhou, member of the Youth Federation of Guangdong Province, Vice-Chairman of the Youth Federation of Baiyun District, and standing member of the Industry & Commerce Federation of Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
